ATTENTION..! ATTENTION..! ATTENTION..!
After an extended hiatus Renegade Art is back with a vengeance. With two equally successful projects, numbers eight and nine respectively, behind us we are preparing for a much brighter future as both a collaborative unit and a touring act. Two kick-ass shows have been lined up for the near future and, so, with that said, please lend me your ear.

RENEGADE ART VERSUS BIG ART; ACT ONE
36 TH AND WALUNUT STREET, PHILADELPHIA, PA
Big Art ( www.bigartshow.com ) is an all-inclusive artist-collective out of Asbury Park, NJ, and they have been throwing massively successful art parties all over the eastern seaboard for the past 3 years. Renegade Art Project Number Six (link to project six) featured an all-star lineup of Big Art Show artists, but this is the first actual collaboration between the two groups.
Big Art provides the art and the music, while Renegade Art, once again, will be firing its star-studded lineup of short films onto the big screen. With literally hours of short films, RAC has had to cull the herd and will be presenting the best of the best by returning RAC artists Marianna LaFollette, Kate McCabe, Tim Lohr, Dennis DeVries, Marc Brodzik ( www.brodzik.com ), Morgan Miller, and newcomer all-stars Tom Putnam and Henry Griffin (email Sarah for websites for these two filmmakers, please).
Please refer to www.bigartshow.com for more information on this show.
Be part of history, for after this show the theater will be demolished (r.i.p.)

@ THE NEST in Bridgeport, Connecticut
Most of you only know of the Coalition's efforts in its hometown of West Chester, PA, but these are only part of the group's story. So, to celebrate its tenth installment the Coalition has chosen to fly the coop. Teaming up with their CT brethren, UCER(www.u-c-e-r.com) the Coalition is doing its first group show since its inception in 2003, and it is in Connecticut…!
Number Ten is gonna be a trip… Working in glorious full-color 4foot by 8foot panels, Coalition members are pushing their artistic limits for this show. Old timers, Stewart.Dean.Ebersole, Miss.Sarah, Vanessa Holwitt, GLICK, F.Todd, Max-A-Million, and Tim Lohr are teaming up with Coalition newcomers Cam Taylor, Will Rutledge, Rebecca Whetstine, John Slaby, Jonny Narmita, and Bill Covaleski for a show of impressively large works. Included in this show will be the RENEGADE ART MUST PREVAIL propaganda poster collection from Project Eight and Coalition member skateboard transformations from Project Seven.
Supporting RA Project 10 will be the old-timey, gospel-revival sounds of HOOTS AND HELLMOUTH (on myspace) , along with Jonny Narmita's CARETAKER performance (also, on myspace). The night will be rounded out with a BEST OF THE PROJECTS short-film series . And, of course, VICTORY BREWING COMPANY (can you search the web site for victory…?) will be providing tasty beverages to the 21+ crowd.
Now, I know that not everybody who is familiar with the RAC's work is prepared to go running off to Connecticut to rock out with them, but for those of you who are willing this will be an outrageous show. Many thanks to the U.C.E.R. crew and the kind folks at DAYONE skate shop (www.dayoneskateshop.com). The cost of the event is set at $5 and the RAC will have a lot of stuff for sale…
